Skylanders Cloud Patrol Review

Skylanders Cloud Patrol  is another great game made by Activision.  How to play the game is super easy.   A bad guy comes on the screen and shoots bombs at you.  The object of the game is to go as far as you can and to not get hit by the bombs. Your job is to shoot the bombs and the bad guys. All you have to do to play is to tap and hold the screen.  In the game you can collect coins and gems. Every time you destroy a troll or other enemy coins will appear on the screen. Then you have to tap the coins to collect them. You can use coins to buy more Skylander characters and items. If you have played Skylanders on the Xbox, DS, Wii and PS3 then you will know these characters and power ups.

These are some characters in the game:

  • Ignitor
  • Chop Chop
  • Trigger Happy
  • Spyro
  • Eruptor
  • Flameslinger
  • Pop Fizz

The character you start with is Trigger Happy. He is a great character because he is funny and always happy. If you have bought the Skylanders figures from the other systems you can use the codes to get the characters in this game.

This game does not have levels like Angry Birds, Cut the Rope and Papa’s Burgeria. It has rounds and you can go as far as you want as long as you survive.  If you get very far the game will increase the difficulty. This game is great, I am going to play it again right now!

Available at the iTunes Store.

Spike, this was an awesome review! I’ve never played it before but might have to get the app and try it out. What do you think of Fruit Ninja? I’m getting a wee bit addicted to that when I have some down-time while my hubby watches t.v. Keep posting! You’re doing a great job, Spike!
